I always find it difficult to begin writing about myself, but here goes. I am a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. My main interests are studying the Bible and my family and friends. I love adventure and two summers ago spent three months living on a sailboat and learning to sail. Then last summer I went to Israel and Jordan. (the economy class all the way) In Israel I worked on a farm in the Negev and then traveled and camped around the Kinneret (Gallilee) and TelAviv. They told me I am too old for the Kibbutz work, but I got along fine volunteering on the farm. In Jordan my daughter worked at a ladies spa and we rented a small furnished apartment in Aqaba. This summer I am building a website and learning to write hub pages. The website is up and running (pioneerhomemakers.com) and yesterday I put up my first hub article. There is plenty to learn here, and it is fun getting to know the other hubbers via their articles. This should be an interesting way to spend the rest of the summer and the dreary winter months.
